LS&E hosted the Israeli bio-analyst community for special workshop on NAPARI

On the April 10th the Israeli bio-analyst community were hosted by the LS&E microscopy unit for the first workshop in Israel on Napari.

Napari is a Python library for n-dimensional image visualisation, annotation, and analysis.

The workshop included 18 bio-analysts from Weizmann institute, Bar Ilan University, Hebrew University and the Technion institute.

The workshop was take place at the computer farm in the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Eng. in the upper campus of the Technion.

 

The Agenda:
9:20           meet @ the LS&E microscopy unit
9:30 – 10:15     Introduction to napari
10:15 – 12:30    Basic napari hands-on
12:30 – 13:30    Launch
13:30 – 16:00    Advanced napari plugins

The hands-on tutorial was done on the bio-analyst computers.

Thanks to DR. Yael Lupo-Haber for the great hands-on Napari worshop.

It was very practical and gave a good boost into Napari community.
