About Us
The Life Science and Engineering (LS&E) Infrastructure Center was established in a joint effort by the Lorry I. Lokey Interdisciplinary Center for Life Sciences and Engineering and the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute (RBNI) to provide researchers from various disciplines of Life Science and Engineering a state-of-the-art Infrastructure Center.
The Center provides cutting-edge Instruments and services to researchers from diverse disciplines, such as biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, food engineering, material engineering, and physics among others. The Center serves researchers from the Technion, as well as other academic institutes and the industry.
The Center offers services in the fields of light microscopy and imaging, flow cytometry, and next-generation sequencing
The center operates as a ‘knowledge-based’ center. The experienced and professional staff supports all researchers, from designing the experiments, working on the instrumentation, and further analysis of the results.
The available equipment in each unit is described under Systems.
Workstations are available for further imaging and flow analysis.
