Cell Observer – Zeiss Inverted for Live Imaging

Description

The Cell Observer system is an inverted fluorescent microscope built with an environmental chamber. Temperature (heating and cooling), humidity and CO2controls, allow the Cell Observer system to reliably document living organisms and intracellular processes over a period of several days.

 

Features

  • Environmental chamber: The system includes an environmental chamber that can be controlled for temperature, humidity and CO2. Temperature controlled stage for direct heating or cooling of samples.
  • Cameras:

– AxioCam HS – High speed camera for rapid acquisition at one channel. Delivers up to
300 images/sec, at equidistant intervals and with reproducible acquisition conditions.

– Hamamatzu Orca HD – High definition camera used for increased resolution image
acquisition. Acquires images at a maximum rate of 12 frames/sec. This camera
uses high resolution image acquisition for long period time lapse applications and multi
dimensional acquisitions.
